PM Modi gives Krishi Karman Awards and Rs 2000 as third installment under PM KISAN
The Indian PM Narendra Modi is going to distribute Krishi Karman Awards in Tumkur Karnataka.
- the whole event will take place at a public meeting in Tumkur Karnataka on 1 Jan 2020.
- in addition, he will distribute Commendation Awards to states during event .
- moreover, he will issue amount of Rs 2000 as 3rd installment of PM Kisan (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi) for December to March period.
- this amount will directly help to almost six crore beneficiaries.

In Jammu and Kashmir, National Green Corps Yojana revived
A decade ago, The National Green Corps scheme had been shutdown, now, it starts again for Jammu and Kashmir.
- In meetting organized by MoEFCC at Kevadia in Gujarat, J&K PCB has made efforts to revive scheme in the State .
- As per scheme, PCB will help in giving financial assistance to 3,742 Eco Clubs of registered schools in JAmmu and Kashmir.
- along with it, 6 Eco Clubs of registered colleges are also included and they will get funds via Direct Bank Transfer by the Board.

ICC makes a plan to end five-day Tests from 2023
International Cricket Council is planning to end five-day Tests then, ICC can make four-day Tests mandatory from 2023.
- From almost 140 years, Five Days Tests have been playing between teams. now, England want to get back the plan.
- England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has said that Four days Test can provide a sustainable solution to the complex scheduling needs and players’ workloads instead of Five Days Tests.

Third Khelo India youth games Guwahati from Jan 2020
The 3rd edition of Khelo India youth games is going to be organized in Guwahati from 10 Jan to 12 Jan.
- 36500 athletes will be part of Khelo India youth games. in addition, Cycling and lawn ball are introduced as new disciplines in the third Khelo India youth games.
- The opening ceremony will be taken place at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Guwahati.

Vinod Kumar Yadav has selected to the position of former Principal Secretary of the Government of India as Chairman of the Railways Commission.
