Micro-ATM transactions limit reduced by SBI, Bank of Baroda
- State Bank of India and Bank of Baroda has set limitation of cash withdrawals. now, customers can use others banks’s micro-ATMs to 4 times in month to make transactions. due to this step, Aadhaar-enabled Payment System (AePS) route got decrement in transactions.
- On the other hand, Bank of Baroda has allowed to make 4 transactions in a day to its customers. but, SBI has reduced Transactions limit to 1 per day. The customers who are not under direct benefit transfer scheme of Govt, they will be able to make five transactions per month.
- Such limits will be applied, when a customer uses micro-ATM of other banks
Policy Report of Bi-monthly Monetary
- According to the liquidity adjustment facility (LAF), The MPC ( Monetary Policy Committee ) of RBI has taken a decision to decrease in policy repo rate by 25 basis points from 5.40% ( before ) to 5.15% ( current ). under LAF, The reverse repo rate has set to 4.90%, and Marginal standing facility (MSF) rate and the Bank Rate is now 5.40%.
