4th Indian Navy-Bangladesh Navy Coordinated Patrol (CORPAT) – The 4th edition of the Indian Navy-Bangladesh Navy Coordinated Patrol (CORPAT) was commenced in the Northern Bay of Bengal on 22nd May 2022. Indian Navy and Bangladesh Navy participated jointly patrolling along the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL) till 23 May 22.
- It aims to strengthen mutual understanding and enhance interoperability between both the navies in countering transnational maritime threats at sea.
- From the Indian side, Two indigenously built IN Ships – Kora, a guided-missile corvette and Sumedha, an offshore patrol vessel became part of the exercise.
- Bangladesh Navy Ships BNS Ali Haider and BNS Abu Ubaidah are participating.
- The last the Indian Navy-Bangladesh Navy Coordinated Patrol (CORPAT) was held in October 2020.
