624 New laboratories to conduct COVID-19 tests
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) shared information that a total of almost 1,61,041 COVID-19 virus samples are being conducted in a day. the total numbers of tests have crossed 32,42,160 figure in the country.
ICMR is taking more steps to scale up its testing facilities for the COVID-19. as a result, ICMR is granting permission to government and private laboratories.

until now, ICMR has given its permission to 624 laboratories ( 435 government laboratories and 189 private laboratories) across India.
