Prime Minister Narendra Modi has dedicated seven new Defence PSUs, carved out of OFBs, to the nation, following the dissolution of the 200-year-old Ordnance Factory Board (OFB).

India’s first Atal Community Innovation Center launched at VGU Jaipur
India’s first Atal Community Innovation Center (ACIC) was launched at Vivekananda Global University (VGU) in Jaipur. it has been established by the Government of India, Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) and NITI Aayog.

Union Minister Anurag Thakur launches MyParkings App
The Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shri Anurag Singh Thakur has launched a new app named the ‘MyParkings’
- MyParkings App has been developed by Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL) with South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC)
- The app will play an important role in reducing pollution by minimising the time spent searching for parking spots.
- It will help in digitizing all authorized parking under SDMC municipal limits.
- The MyParking App is made for an effortless solution to users for hassle-free parking.
- Users can also book online parking slots to park their vehicles without inconvenience.
BPCL launches automated fuelling technology UFill
The Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has started off an automated fuelling technology named “UFill”. in the beginning, it has been launched in 65 cities across India.
- UFill will help in offering a swift, secure, and smart experience to its customers at outlets with control of fuel.
- UFill will be available in payment app like GPay, PayTM, PhonePe etc.
- It will provide a real time QR and voucher code through SMS.

Global Hunger Index 2021: India ranks at 101st spot, behind Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal
Welthungerhilfe (WHH) and Concern Worldwide have released Global Hunger Index (GHI) 2021. as per the Index, India has been ranked at the 101st spot among 116 countries in the Global Hunger Index (GHI) 2021. in 2020, India was ranked at 94.
- This year, India went behind Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal With a score of 27.5 which has a level of hunger that is serious.
- As per the Index, A total of 18 countries China, Kuwait and Brazil have shared the top rank with GHI score of less than five.
- As per the report, India’s neighboring countries, Nepal (76), Bangladesh (76), Myanmar (71) and Pakistan (92) have ranked better than India (101), are placed in the ‘alarming’ hunger category.

Forbes has released the World’s Best Employers 2021 rankings, and as per the ranking. Reliance Industries has topped the Indian corporates in the World’s Best Employers 2021 rankings.
- At the global level, South Korea based Samsung Electronics has topped in the ranking and followed by IBM and Microsoft have been ranked at 2nd and 3rd spot.
