One Nation One Election Second Meeting – The High-Level Committee conducted the second meeting. The Committee was formed by the Government under the chairpersonship of Shri Ram Nath Kovind former President of India. It aims to discuss the issue relating to the holding of simultaneous elections in the country and make recommendations.
Amit Shah, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Arjun Ram Meghwal, N. K. Singh, Dr Subhash C. Kashyap, Harish Salve, and Sanjay Kothari joined the meeting.
HLC was renamed as ‘High Level Committee on One Nation, One Election’ (‘एक देश, एक चुनाव के लिए उच्च स्तरीय समिति’).
