The 4th Edition of India-Oman Joint Military Exercise ‘AL NAJAH-IV’ will be held in Rajasthan at the Foreign Training Node of Mahajan Field Firing Ranges. India-Oman Joint Military Exercise ‘AL NAJAH-IV’ will be conducted from August 01 to 13, 2022.
- The 3rd edition of Ex AL NAJAH IV between India and Oman was held in Muscat from 12 to 25 March 2019.
AL NAJAH-IV Exercise
- The AL NAJAH-IV exercise is a joint military exercise, aiming to enhance the level of defence cooperation between the Armies of India and Oman as well as the bilateral relations between the two nations.
- Both nations’ forces will focus on Counter Terrorism Operations, Regional Security Operations and Peace Keeping Operations under the United Nations charter, joint physical training schedules, tactical drills, techniques and procedures.
- From the Indian side, troops from the 18 Mechanised Infantry Battalion will participate in the AL NAJAH-IV exercise.
- From the Oman side, the Sultan of Oman Parachute Regiment will participate in the AL NAJAH-IV exercise.
