Pool Testing of coronavirus –
The Uttar Pradesh has been as the 1st state of India that commences the Pool Testing of the coronavirus samples. in UP, the COVID-19 positive cases have crossed the number of 558. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) granted permission to start pool testings to the state in order to help maximize the testing of samples on a daily basis.
What is Pool Testing of COVID-19 –
- Pool testing means if ten human samples are mixed with each other then tested to check COVID-19 virus. if the pool test goes negative. as a result, that all samples are negative. however, if the test is not negative, in that case, each person will be checked.
- This step will enhance the capacity of testing and as well as accelerate the process.
- The health department of UP has collected nearly 2000 samples per day in the state.
- The UP state also began the telephonic consultation facility. according to the facility, the people will be able to make a call on toll-free number 18001805145 and that will enable them to consult with the retired doctors from the army and the government.
