ADB and GOI Signs Loan Agreement
In order to improve 11 state highways and 2 district roads in Maharashtra State, The Centre has signed a loan agreement with Asian Development Bank (ADB).
- According to this loan agreement, a Total of USD ($) 177 million amount will be provided to India that will be used in improving roads of Maharashtra.
- Under this project, national highways and agricultural areas will be connected with rural and urban areas.
- Besides this, the Amount could be used to make staff of Maharashtra Public Works Department train. as a result, they can build roads and infrastructure in Maharashtra state by following climate change standards with retaining environment and may adapt to disaster relief features.

ADB and GOI Signs Loan Agreement
