Australian High Commission in India Announces Government Grant for Project in Kargil – Australian High Commission in India has announced its Government Grant for a Project in Kargil. this happened for the first time in the history of Ladakh. the announcement was made during a Special Meeting at Srinagar headed by the Australian high commissioner to India, Barry O’Farrell.

“Return to Roots” Project

The “Return to Roots” project will integrate traditional knowledge with the current school science curriculum in alignment with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) which includes increasing scientific engagement among school children of the tribal background.
