Benazir Bhutto was the former Prime Minister of Pakistan and she was also the chair of the political party known as the Pakistan Peoples Party. Her father’s name was Zulfikar Ali Bhutto who also served as the Prime Minister of Pakistan. However, he was removed from power in a military coup and later hanged for a crime.

Bhutto served two terms as the Prime Minister of Pakistan and was exiled in the late 1990s by military dictator Pervez Musharraf. On October 19, 2007, A suicide bomber ended up at one rally killing 139 of her supporters. On December 27, 2007, Bhutto was standing through her vehicle’s sunroof to wave at supporters and three shots were heard followed by a blast. Bhutto died while taking her to the hospital.
