The Avancez Scholarships
Chalmers offers a 75% tuition fee waiver to all fee-paying students. “Avancez!” is the motto of the university founder William Chalmers. The Scholarships will be given to all citizens from non-EU/EEA countries who are liable to pay tuition fees for a Swedish university education.
Selection Process
Students will be selected based on the applicants’ relative academic excellence, which primarily includes weighted average grades (at least 80%).
Available to
- 1st year Master’s programme candidates.
- Citizens from non-EU/EEA countries will pay tuition fees for Swedish university studies.
Amount
- A 75% reduction of the tuition fees (4 semesters/2 year programme).
- Students must excel in their first year of studies may receive an increased reduction, which covers 85% of the tuition fees during the second and final year of studies.
- No funds will be transferred to the scholarship laureates.
The IPOET (International Programme Office for Education and Training) Scholarships
IPOET (International Programme Office for Education and Training) is offered and funded by the Government of Sweden and administrated by Chalmers. It covers a 75% tuition fee waiver. It will be available to all fee-paying students.
The scholarship is funded by the Swedish Council for Higher Education to fee-paying students. The scholarship is administered and awarded by Chalmers.
Selection
Applicants will be selected based on the applicants’ relative academic excellence, which primarily comprises weighted average grade (at least 80%), also home university’s stature (including position on global ranking lists) and priority order of the application for Chalmers Master’s programmes.
