Clare Connor as 1st female MCC president
- The Former captain of England women team Clare Connor has been chosen as president of Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC). due to this, she beecomes the first female in the history of 233-years. at present, Clare Connor is serving as England and Wales Cricket Board’s head of women’s cricket. Clare made his debut at the age of 19 in the 1995 year and became captain in 2000 before retiring six years later.
