COVID vaccination drive in India from 16 January
On 9th January 2021, the Indian Govt has shared information among the public that the vaccination’s 1st phase will commence on 16th January 2021. during the 1st phase, over 30 crore citizens will be given the vaccination. prior to this, the healthcare staff and frontline workers will get vaccinated.
The govt also said that healthcare staff and frontline workers who are aged 50 or over they will receive vaccine shots first. as per the Health Ministry, there are 3 crore healthcare staff and frontline workers in India.
