RCS- UDAN Completes 6 Successful Years
UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik) has completed six years. It is a government-backed initiative that aims to improve infrastructure and connectivity in India, especially in remote and underserved regions.
Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the first RCS-UDAN flight on April 27, 2017, connecting Shimla to Delhi. The scheme will improve unserved air routes in underserved regions of the country and fulfil the aspirations of the common citizens.
Kerala Becomes the First State to Have Hallmarking Centres in All Districts
In India, Kerala became the first state in India to have hallmarking centres in all of its 14 districts. This milestone was completed after the inauguration of a hallmarking centre in Adimali, Idukki district, Kerala. Now, Kerala will be called a hub of gold business and will strengthen its claim to being the most reliable market across the country.
