Portland State University (PSU) and Heritage University started the EAGLES STEM Scholarships ranging between $20,000 to $60,000. The Scholarship aims to support outstanding students majoring in STEM. Students will be provided financial assistance, advising, mentoring, and research opportunities to achieve graduation. Scholars earn degrees in STEM (science, technology, engineering, & mathematics) majors, including Biology, Chemistry, Ecology, Engineering, Physics, and Environmental Science/Studies.

Qualifying STEM Majors
Students must major in one of the following areas of study:
- Biological sciences (except pre-medical students)
- Physical sciences (including physics, chemistry, astronomy, and materials science)
- Mathematical sciences
- Computer and information sciences
- Geosciences
- Engineering
- Other technology areas associated with the preceding fields (e.g., biotechnology, chemical technology, engineering technology, information technology)
Eligibility Criteria
Follow the requirements for applying for the Program:
- Must be US citizens, permanent residents, US nationals, or admitted refugees.
- Must be two years of school remaining (rising seniors are not eligible)
- Must have a 3.0 GPA (GPA of 2.75-2.99 may be considered under certain circumstances)
- PELL Grant eligible/low-income
