The University of Canterbury offers the Guardian Trust Master’s Scholarship in Commerce to students beginning a master’s degree in Commerce. The scholarship program is presented to both domestic and international students.
The scholarship is granted for one year on a full-time or part-time program of Canterbury’s Faculty of Commerce. You must have at least 120 points for the Master’s program. Every year, the student is selected for the Guardian Trust Master’s Scholarship in Commerce award. The amount of 16500 NZD will be provided to the recipient in the form of equal monthly instalments.

Application Process

Selection Process
Students must follow the eligibility criteria to apply for the Guardian Trust Master’s scholarship in Commerce.
- The decision of the committee is based on the academic achievements of the applicants.
- There is no suitable student found no scholarship is awarded.
- The payment of the scholarship is made on a pro-rata basis when applicants are enrolled for a program of fewer than 120 points.
The Council of the University will declare the decision on the recommendations of the committee members mainly the Vice-Chancellor or nominee and the Dean of Commerce.
The selection will be highly competitive due to its limited availability.
