Home Delivery of medicines under SeHAT scheme of MoD – The home delivery of medicines has been started on 1st February 2022 under Services e-Health Assistance and Teleconsultation, SeHAT.
- In May 2021, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh launched SeHAT (SeHAT stands for Services e-Health Assistance and Teleconsultation) in order to take efforts towards the Government’s commitment to Digital India and e-Governance.
Services e-Health Assistance and Teleconsultation (SeHAT)
- It is the tri-services teleconsultation service of the Ministry of Defence.
- SeHAT has been launched for all entitled personnel and their families.
- Under the scheme, Home Delivery will be started with Base Hospital Delhi Cantt from 1st February 2022.
