The Navies of India and France joined a Maritime Partnership Exercise (MPX) in the North Atlantic Ocean which was held between July 29 and 30, 2022. Indian Navy’s guided-missile frigate INS Tarkash and the French Fleet Tanker FNS Somme became part of this exercise.
- The exercise aims to demonstrate the high degree of professionalism and interoperability between the two navies.
