Indian Navy joins PASSEX Exercise with Russia in Arabian Sea – Indian Navy has joined PASSEX Exercise with Russia on 14 January 2022 at the port of Cochin, in the Arabian Sea.

  • In the PASSEX exercise, the Indian Navy’s indigenously designed and built guided-missile destroyer, INS Kochi participated with Russian Federation Navy’s RFS Admiral Tributes.
  • The main purpose of the PASSEX exercise is to showcase cohesiveness and interoperability between the two navies.
