JALDOOT App launched for Monitoring of Ground Water Tables – Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Steel, Shri Faggan Singh Kulaste launched the “JALDOOT App and JALDOOT App e-brochure” at a function in New Delhi.
- JALDOOT app was jointly developed by the Ministry of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj.
- It will be used across the country to capture the water level of selected 2-3 wells in a village.
- This Mobile app will work in both online and offline mode.
- Users can check the water level without internet connectivity and captured data will be stored in the mobile when the mobile comes into the connectivity area.
- Water level report, Monsoon Report and Registered user report are available at the JALDOOT web portal.
