KTH India Scholarship 2024: Eligibility, Application, Selection Process

Every year, the KTH India Foundation offers the KTH India Scholarship under the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. The KTH India Scholarship is sponsored by generous donations from an anonymous donor. The program includes the tuition fee for up to 2 years of study along with a living allowance for 10 months.

• It is only available to Indian students at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
• Only two scholarships will be given every year.
• The award will be for those students who are pursuing a master’s program
• The scholarship application deadline is January 16, 2023.
• The renewability of the scholarship will be focused on satisfactory results showcased by the students.

• 15 January 2024 (midnight CET): Application closes

Eligibility Criteria

• You must be a fee-paying student and have applied for a master’s programme at KTH.
• You must also be an Indian citizen who has finished your undergraduate programme in India.
• Students with conditional eligibility also can apply.
• The scholarship will not be given to applicants to joint master’s programmes or programmes with obligatory exchange studies, such as the master’s programme in Railway Engineering.

KTH India Scholarship 2024 – Selection Process

The scholarship will be given primarily based on academic excellence. Only applicants who meet the admission requirements of the programme applied for will be considered eligible for a scholarship. An assessment of applicants for the scholarship will be based on the following criteria:

• The applicant’s grades (GPA or equivalent)
• The ranking of the university that awarded the applicant’s bachelor’s degree
• The applicant’s motivation, relevant work experience and extra-curricular activities
