Kushinagar Airport gets International airport status
- Finally, After approval from Union Cabinet, Uttar Pradesh’s Kushinagar Airport has received International Airport status. due to this, Airport will gain more domestic/international tourism and economic development of the regions. also, it will be a important strategic location.
- Before, 3-km-long runway strip was built. now, an enormous aircraft of Airbus will be able to land at the Kushinagar airport. Th Kushinagar airport is situated within the north-eastern(NE) a part of Uttar Pradesh State almost 50 km East Direction of Gorakhpur City and is one among the important Buddhist pilgrimage sites.
