Chief ministers of Chhattisgarh
Since Chhattisgarh’s formation on 1 November 2000, 3 people served as the state’s chief minister as a result of the Madhya Pradesh Reorganisation Act, of 2000. The first chief minister of Chhattisgarh was Ajit Jogi of the Indian National Congress. The second chief minister of Chhattisgarh was Raman Singh of the Bharatiya Janata Party who served three consecutive five-year terms. The longest-serving chief minister of Chhattisgarh is BJP’s Raman Singh who served between 7 December 2003 and 17 December 2018.
