Louisiana Tech University Presidential Scholarship is offered by Louisiana Tech University to eligible students who demonstrate exceptional academic excellence, entering freshman year. The award will cover between $9,000 and $9,500 for those with a minimum GPA of 3.0-3.75, and $9,500 for those scoring GPAs of 3.75/4.0.
The scholarship is a merit-based award and you must have exceptional academic records and standardized test scores. You will have to be admitted to Louisiana Tech University and a resident of Louisiana.

Eligibility Requirements
- You must be a US citizen.
- Presidential, Deans’, and Outstanding Student Scholarships offer annual amounts and are offered for four years (not including summer); or for a maximum of 12 quarters if you choose to attend summer(s) – additional rules apply and a separate application is required for summer.
- Scholarships will be renewed every year provided a 3.00 cumulative GPA is maintained at the end of each Spring Quarter; Presidential Scholars will have to maintain a 3.00 cumulative GPA at the end of every quarter.
