Nickels for Notes Music Scholarship 2024

The Nickels for Notes Music Scholarship aims to support students pursuing an education abroad. The scholarship is offered to all high school senior students. Every year, The General Federation Of Women’s Clubs Massachusetts offers one student a $500 scholarship For High School Seniors who will major in Piano, Instrument, Music Education, Music Therapy, or Voice.

Eligibility Criteria

Follow the requirements for applying for the Program:

• Must be a high school senior.
• Must be a senior in a Massachusetts high school, or home-schooled and has achieved the standards for graduation set by the town of residence.

Application Process

To apply for the program, you will have to submit your application.

• Completed application form postmarked no later than March 1, 2024.
• Personal statement of no more than 500 words addressing your personal and professional goals, experience, and repertoire (if applicable). Word count on the statement must be provided.
• Letter of recommendation from a high school teacher or music instructor (original on school letterhead.)
• Copy of Massachusetts driver’s license.
• Official transcript of high school grades.
