Ravi Mittal as new Chairman of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India – The government has appointed Ravi Mittal, the former secretary of, Department of Sports as the Chairman of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) on February 02, 2022.
- Ravi Mittal will serve as the Chairman of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) for a period of five years and will replace M S Sahoo who completed his five-year term on September 30, 2021.
- Ravi Mittal is a 1986 batch IAS officer from Bihar cadre.
- Mittal has also served as Secretary of Information and Broadcasting (I&B), among other positions.
