Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Bill 2023
- It seeks to provisions for digital registration and electronic delivery of certificates of births and deaths for the benefit of the public at large. The legislation provides for creating a National and State level database of registered births and deaths which would help in updating other databases resulting in efficient and transparent delivery of public services and social benefits.
Jammu and Kashmir Reservation (Amendment) Bill 2023
- It will amend section 2 of the Jammu and Kashmir Reservation Act, 2004, so as to change the nomenclature of “weak and underprivileged classes to other backward classes.
Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Amendment) Bill 2023
It will amend the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019 with a view to providing representation to Kashmiri Migrants, Displaced Persons from Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and Scheduled Tribes in the Legislative Assembly of the Jammu and Kashmir to preserve their political rights as well as for their overall social and economic development.
