- Kamalpreet Kaur breached the World Athletics Anti-Doping Rules due to the Presence/Use of a Prohibited Substance (Stanozolol).
- She became the first Indian to breach the 65m-mark in the discus throw.
- She also finished a commendable sixth in the women’s discus throw final at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 with a best throw of 63.70m.
- She is also having a national record throw of 66.59m at the Indian Grand Prix.
