As we know that most countries are rolling out Covid-19 vaccines. now, a new strain of the coronavirus has been found in Britain that is alarming for all countries. it is believed that coronavirus strain is 70% more transmissible than the original and various countries has closed their air service in order to prevent the new coronavirus strain.

What is this new strain of coronavirus?

The scientists from the UK have given a new name “VUI – 202012/01”. it comprises a genetic mutation in the “spike” protein that is used by SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus for infecting human cells. as per the theory, it is quicker spreadable among people.

Maharashtra state also planned to make passengers quarantine for a period of 15 days.
