Visby Program Scholarship for Master’s Studies 2024: Eligibility, Application, Selection Process

The Swedish Institute’s Visby Program Scholarship for Master’s Studies offers a fully-funded scholarship to pursue a master’s degree in Sweden. The scholarship is provided to students willing and keen on contributing to sustainable development in their respective home countries.

  • This program provides 60 such scholarships to students applying to the Autumn semester and is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden through Swedish Institute scholarship opportunities.
  • The scholarship grant includes the full tuition fees, which are directly paid to the various universities in Sweden by the organization.
  • The program will cover an additional amount of SEK 10,000/month for their living expenses every month.
  • The program also covers the insurance costs of the students.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria to apply for the Visby Program Scholarship for Master’s Studies:

  • Only students from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, and Ukraine can apply for this scholarship.
  • Students applying to master’s studies in Sweden only.
  • Applicants must have work experience.
  • Substantial work in civil society or the public sector.
  • Must have an admission offer from the university.

  • Applicants can go to the link given on the scholarship website to apply for a master’s degree.
  • You must apply for the scholarship form.

The following required documents –

  • Motivation letter in a PDF format.
  • Curriculum vitae (CV) not more than 3 pages.
  • One letter of reference. The student can submit two letters also. One of them has to be from a supervisor from your work experience.
  • Experience letters from various professional work experiences
  • Proof of a valid passport.

Selection Process

The committee will review all the applications and disqualify all the ones. Students must submit all the required documents and read through the guidelines.
